Runda finałowa głosowania Festival Awards Europe zakończy się już 8 grudnia (środa). Dzięki głosom naszej publiczności Heineken Open’er Festival trafił do finałowej rundy głosowania i walczy o nagrodę w kategorii Best Major Festival. W kategorii Best Medium Sized Festival znalazł się Coke Live Music Festival.

Miło nam także poinformować, że Open’er został nominowany w kategorii, w której głos oddają zespoły i specjaliści branży muzycznej – Artist’s Favourite Festival (Festiwal Najbardziej Lubiany Przez Artystów – kategoria,  w której brana jest pod uwagę atmosfera festiwalowa, a także warunki stworzone zespołom na miejscu).

Warto zaznaczyć, że podczas najważniejszej europejskiej konferencji muzycznej i odbywającego się w jej trakcie festiwalu muzycznego Eurosonic Noorderslag w Groningen Polskę będą reprezentować 4 zespoły: Coldair, Indigo Tree, Kyst oraz Paula i Karol.

Bardzo cieszymy się, że w tym roku nasza scena muzyczna będzie reprezentowana przez wspomnianych wykonawców. Indigo Tree, Kyst oraz Paula i Karol wystąpili podczas tegorocznej edycji Open’era, teraz będą mieli okazję zaprezentować się przed przedstawicielami ważnych europejskich festiwali oraz akredytowanymi dziennikarzami międzynarodowymi. Podczas ostatnich dwóch edycji Eurosonic Noorderslag na festiwalu nie zagrał ani jeden polski zespół.

O tym, jak ważne jest pojawienie się w Groningen świadczy fakt, że po występach na Eurosonic Noorderslag nabrały tempa kariery takich zespołów jak White Lies, The XX, czy Franz Ferdinand, a wiele europejskich grup dostało szansę zaprezentowania się w trakcie ważnych letnich festiwali.

Next to the earlier announced keynotes by Bob Lefsetz and Fred Goodman, we are proud to announce the first list of confirmed panels: Off The Record With A Smile, The Agent Panel, Future of Festivals, Eastern Europe Panel, Trans Europe Express, Health & Safety Panel, Future of Labels, Booking a tour Live on Stage, Green Events Panel, The Managers Panel, (June, July and August) General Festival Meeting.

European media on Eurosonic Noorderslag

Eurosonic Noorderslag works together closely with European media to give extended exposure to the performing artists. During 2010, at least 334 concert broadcasts of Eurosonic Noorderslag concerts were aired by 21 European Broadcasting Union radio stations. With the EBU group firmly behind the festival, radio shows containing Eurosonic and Noorderslag concerts will reach out as far as Eastern and Southern Europe and beyond…an audience of millions. Further on Eurosonic Noorderslag will be broadcasted live by several international television stations and a wide range of music magazines will report about the event.

ETEP: European Talent Exchange Program

2010 brings ETEP an astonishing 186 shows, with 72 European artists from 20 countries performing at 60 ETEP festivals in 20 countries. A grand total of 1051 shows by 418 European artists since 2003. ETEP is a successful Eurosonic Noorderslag initiative to stimulate the exchange of European music throughout Europe. ETEP brings new talent to the forefront by bringing together the leading European festivals with radio and other media. www.etep.nl
